The Danish singer, guitarist and songwriter Mike Andersen’s breakthrough on the blues scene happened in 2002 with the debut album “My Love For The Blues”. Over the next 15 years, he has built a solid career and gained a high star, also in Norway.
Mike Andersen has released seven albums, the last one, “Devil Is Back” (2016). Some of the songs from the last album have been composed in Nashville, where Mike has worked together with a number of inter-nationally acclaimed songwriters. Together with Heather Bond, Mike has written the track “This Time” which has become a duet with the famous soul singer and Grammy award winner Joss Stone.
Andersen has previously visited Svalbard with great success. With his own songs in a fusion of different music genres, soul / funk / blues / rock / pop, there should be something for everyone.
