Frode Alnæs is a graduate of jazz studies at Trøndelag University Conservatory and has played in many different contexts. Having first become common in Dance With A Stranger in 1988, Alnæs distinguished himself as one of Norway’s best guitarists. In DWAS, Elg provided the vocals, while Alnæs was behind most of the band’s tunes. As a solo artist, Alnæs takes care of the song as well.
For Svalbard, he comes with a trio and they will certainly serve musical samples from his entire career. Here are expected high singalong factor, sparkling guitar playing and musicality laced with humor.
