Lisa Lystam is a powerful Swedish blues rock singer and harmonica player. She first formed a band called Trio that morphed into the Lisa Lystam Family Band (LLFB). This band from Stockholm found the blues and made it their own, added with roots and rock’n’roll. Their hope is to draw a new generation to the blues.
The band is one of the best and well known bands in Sweden, and have many followers in Norway as well. The band’s album debut was “When Money’s Runnin’ Out” in 2014. In 2019, album number three, called “III”, was released.
LLFB is fronted by Lisa Lystam (vocals/harmonica). She has Fredrik “Skanky Fred” Karlsson (guitar), Matte Gustavsson (guitar), Johan Sund (electric bass) and Jonas Backman (drums) behind her. The repertoire they bring to Dark Season Blues consists of their own songs, topped with the occasional classic in their own recording.
