You may not have heard of the band, but if you are a true blues fan you can’t help but stumble across the four artists united here in their love for the rugged hill country blues and delta blues of the hills and the elongated delta of Mississippi.
Vocalist, harmonica and “Mr. Notodden Blues Festival », Jostein Forsberg is known together with power guitarist Morten Omlid from bands such as Spoonful of Blues, R&B Express and Bluestown Kings. Morten also spent time with the Rita Engedalen Band. Guitarist Daniel Eriksen and drummer Stig Sjøstrøm are constantly touring as a duo and in trio with Vidar Busk. They took second place for solo / duo in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis 2018, and have several solid albums behind them.
This is a dynamite package of songs from pioneers such as RL Burnside, T-Model Ford and Mississippi Fred McDowell.
