Dawn Tyler Watson may be a wildcard for many, but she has gained fame as the winner of the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis in 2017. As if that wasn’t enough, Ben Racine from the band was crowned best guitarist. This opened the door to a European tour, but this is the first time she is in Norway – with Ben Racine Band as backing band.

Dawn lives in Canada, where she has already been labeled the «Queen of the Blues in Montreal», but is originally from Manchester in England. With her powerful voice and natural authority on the stage, she has no trouble getting the crowd on her side. Her fourth album, «Jawbreaker!» (2016), shows great diversity, from gospel to rock, with a taste of soul and jazz along the way. And it is swinging! A new album is planned for release this year.
